April Greetings
As we step into April and approach the Easter season, our hearts are full of gratitude for God’s faithfulness, for the hope we have in Jesus, and for each of you.
This month, we look forward to gathering with you to worship, to pray, to celebrate life and resurrection, and to continue growing together as a people who see, share, and trust. We hope you will join us for the special services, nights of prayer, guest minister weekends, and moments we’ve planned, and that you will feel encouraged and inspired by all that God is doing in our church and community.

Current Teaching Series
Explore the power and importance of the resurrection. While the cross reveals Christ’s victory over sin and death, it is the resurrection that confirms and completes that victory, offering us true hope and new life. Together, we’ll discover what this means for how we face suffering, death, and injustice, and how we live now in light of eternity.
Prayer
As the practice that brings us regularly into fellowship with God and deepens our unity with each other, our prayer with each other is powerful in shaping us as a community. Join us as we open our building for regular times of morning prayer.

We’re excited to welcome Chris & Bec Van Der Wielen, founding members of Gravity Worship and part of the leadership team at Awaken Church, Canberra. With over a decade of ministry experience, they are passionate about seeing creatives in the church released into the fullness of God’s call.
On Wednesday 8th April from 7–9 pm, they are joining our Creative Team for an evening of sharing, teaching, and discussion. Then on Sunday 12th April, as part of our 10:00am gathered service they will be sharing in word and worship. Don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired and encouraged as we worship Jesus together.
Creative Team – Newcomers Night
If you love worshipping God and have a heart to be part of a creative community, we’d love to invite you to our Creative Team Newcomers Night, Wednesday 29th April 7 – 8pm. Come along to meet the team, hear the heart and vision behind worship, and discover the different ways you can be part of what God is doing. Whether you sing, play an instrument, enjoy being behind the scenes with sound or tech, or you’re simply interested and want to explore, this is a relaxed space to connect and learn more.
More than building a roster, we care about people, growing in relationship, serving together, and creating space for people to honour God through the gifts He has given them.
Child Dedications on Mothers Day
IWe’re looking forward to Child Dedications on May 10, Mother’s Day. A beautiful moment to celebrate family and faith. If you’d like to take part and have us pray for your child, please drop us a line.
C3 Cares Midweek Service
C3 Cares is a unique opportunity to step beyond our walls and serve our community in practical, meaningful ways. Whether it’s lending a hand, sharing a meal, or simply showing up with kindness, every act makes a difference. Come be part of bringing hope where it’s needed most.
Pantry, Fellowship & Communion Service – Thurs 23rd April

1130am – 1230pm pantry open for anyone in need
Sunday Kids
We run our GroKids program for primary-aged children during the service on Gathered Sundays of the school term. During this 45-minute session kids play, pray and learn creatively from God’s word
We have prepared a space at the back of the auditorium with lounges for parents/caregivers and some table activities, books and toys for your little ones (0-Pre-School) to use.
Friday Youth
Our Youth Team are passionate about helping young people make good friends, good choices and grow to know a good God who has created them with a purpose for their life. Friday nights are full of fun and connection!
Youth gather Friday nights Week 2-10 of school terms from 6:30-8:30pm.
Home Church
Every 4th Sunday of the month, we gather at homes across Canberra. A chance to deepen connection; sharing in morning tea or lunch while enjoying our online church service.
We also run a home church experience on these weeks at our 184 Clive Street Ave location at 10:00 am. Find a Home Church here or reach out via the office.

Midweek Playtime
9:30am-11:30am Wednesday mornings during ACT school terms. It’s the perfect opportunity to play, create and have some fun with your bubs to pre-school aged children, while connecting over a cuppa with other parents, grandparents and carers.
Wednesdays School Term
Connect Group
Our groups keep us connected to Jesus and His community by helping people to build relationships and centralise fellowship around our joint relationship with Jesus, creating community where new and existing congregation members can be known and cared for. They cause us to grow to be more like Jesus, through communal discipleship, providing a space for people to share, ask questions and grow in their spiritual formation. They provide regular spaces to pray with one another and encourage each other in how we are reaching others with God’s love.

Young Adults
Young Adults from our high school graduates through to ~mid twenties gather regularly for Home Church, Connect Groups and events including monthly Sunday Lunch hangs.
The Young Adults of C3 Monash also make for a vibrant addition to our volunteer team.
