September Greetings
Hi Church family,
Spring has sprung and we’re looking forward to gathering with you this Father’s Day Sunday. We can smell the bacon and eggs already. Served before the service so come early and come hungry! James will be sharing the Word and we can always count on opening with emboldened praise and worship — how good was extended worship on the altar last Sunday. Wow.
We’re stepping into Four Fridays of Prayer & Fasting, TODAY! If you missed the opening of our People of Prayer series w Tam last week you can catch up on the podcast, and we’d love to see you tonight at 7pm for prayer in the Upper Room.
Thank you, truly and deeply for prayerfully making a commitment to the Building Fund for the coming 12 months Church. Generosity isn’t simply the means to the vision; generosity is the vision and it gives glory to the Father. We’re glad to be honouring God together in this way. It you have missed our pledge moment these last Sundays please take a moment to consider what partnership looks like for you this year and complete a digital pledge or a pledge card this Sunday. We’ll be in touch once all the commitments are in with an update, and we look forward to celebrating together and giving thanks to God for all He is doing among us and through us.
We can’t wait to worship with you throughout September, including with some of our favourite special guests, Chris & Bec from Gravity Worship, wahoo and our All In Team night next Wed 9th.

Current Teaching Series
There will always be adverse conditions we are living through; trials the Lord allows for growth, consequences of our own sin, the sins of others, fallen humanity. However God invites us to experience His presence in the midst, and see His spiritual & physical healing & wholeness flow into our lives, and the lives around us.
Prayer
As the practice that brings us regularly into fellowship with God and deepens our unity with each other, our prayer with each other is powerful in shaping us as a community. Join us as we open our building for regular times of morning prayer.

It’s valuable to have you with us for this evening, not only to meet our SAFE Church requirements, but also to connect as one team, hear some vision, celebrate what God is doing, and reflect on where we’re growing together. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know via office@c3monash.org.au
Gravity Worship, Sunday 20th September
We’re excited to welcome Chris & Bec Van Der Wielen again, founding members of Gravity Worship and part of the leadership team at Awaken Church, Canberra. With over a decade of ministry experience, they are passionate about seeing creatives in the church released into the fullness of God’s call.
On Wednesday 16th Sep from 7–9 pm, they are joining our Creative Team for an evening of vocal coaching, sharing, teaching, and discussion. Then on Sunday 20th Sep, as part of our 10:00am gathered service they will be sharing in word and worship and Chris will also be preaching. Don’t miss this opportunity to be inspired and encouraged as we worship Jesus together.
Sunday Kids
This month in GroKids, we’re continuing our journey through the Fruit of the Spirit, focusing on peace, patience, and kindness as we help our kids grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus’ love.

We run our GroKids Junior (ages 2 -5) and GroKids Primary (grades K-6) during the service on Gathered Sundays of the school term. During this 45-minute session kids play, pray and learn creatively from God’s word.
Friday Youth
Calling all the cooks in the house! As we look ahead to Term 4, we are after a few more evenings to help with cooking for Youth. If you’d like to help, or would like to know more about ways you can get involved at Youth, reach out to Ps Jacelle
Summit 🔥30–31 October | C3 Belconnen
Summit is a C3 Youth Conference for Turning 12–Year 12, with live worship, guest speakers, breakout sessions, games, prizes and plenty more! Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for our young people to encounter God, create memories and build connections. We want every young person to be part of it! 🙌 Register Now.
Our Youth Team are passionate about helping young people make good friends, good choices and grow to know a good God who has created them with a purpose for their life. Friday nights are full of fun and connection!
Youth gather Friday nights Week 2-10 of school terms from 6:30-8:30pm.
C3 Cares – Pantry & Midweek Service
C3 Cares Service gathers at 1030am on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month for morning tea, fellowship along with worship and communion. On the fourth Thursday of each month we also offer pantry item pick up for those in need. We look forward to continuing to share these meaningful moments together as we serve and connect with our community.
Home Church
Every 4th Sunday of the month, we gather at homes across Canberra. A chance to deepen connection; sharing in morning tea or lunch while enjoying our online church service.
We also run a home church experience on these weeks at our 184 Clive Street Ave location at 10:00 am. Find a Home Church here or reach out via the office.

Midweek Playtime
9:30am-11:30am Wednesday mornings during ACT school terms. It’s the perfect opportunity to play, create and have some fun with your bubs to pre-school aged children, while connecting over a cuppa with other parents, grandparents and carers.

Connect Group
Our groups keep us connected to Jesus and His community by helping people to build relationships and centralise fellowship around our joint relationship with Jesus, creating community where new and existing congregation members can be known and cared for. They cause us to grow to be more like Jesus, through communal discipleship, providing a space for people to share, ask questions and grow in their spiritual formation. They provide regular spaces to pray with one another and encourage each other in how we are reaching others with God’s love.

Young Adults
Young Adults from our high school graduates through to ~mid twenties gather regularly for Home Church, Connect Groups and events including monthly Sunday Lunch hangs.
The Young Adults of C3 Monash also make for a vibrant addition to our volunteer team.
